Capabilities
A complete base camp from one vendor.
Evergreen Resource supplies and operates full base camps for wildfire and incident response across the Continental USA. Lodging, power, light, and clerical support arrive together, get set up by our crew, and stay staffed for the length of the incident.
Scope of capability
What we put on the ground.
A base camp has to do five jobs at once: house the crew, power the camp, light it, run the paperwork, and keep it clean. Evergreen covers all five with equipment we own outright and a crew we put on site. One contract, one point of contact, one operation accountable for the whole camp.
Because we own the equipment and employ the crew, we are not coordinating subcontractors after an award. We deploy, set up, and run what we bring, and we keep people on the camp until the incident is closed out.
The complete camp
- Insulated lodging yurts
- Powered, insulated yurts for crew lodging, built to hold heat in cold conditions and stay usable across a long deployment.
- Diesel generators
- Camp power from generators we own and maintain, sized for the lodging, lighting, and clerical load of a working base camp.
- Light towers
- Mobile light towers for camp areas, work zones, and parking, positioned for safe movement after dark.
- Clerical and IAP trailer
- A staffed clerical trailer that prints the Incident Action Plan and handles camp paperwork on site.
- On-site crew
- A cleaning crew, diesel mechanics, and clerical staff stay on the camp for the length of the incident. The camp is maintained and kept running, not just delivered.
Camp size
We size the camp to the incident.
Evergreen scales the camp to the operation. We field a fleet of insulated lodging yurts along with the generators, light towers, and clerical capacity to support them as one working base camp, from a small incident to a large one.
For an exact fit, give us the personnel count and the expected length of deployment. We will confirm what we can put on the ground and the lead time to do it.
For contracting officers
A vendor you can award with confidence.
Evergreen Resource has supplied base camp support for incident response since 2003, a 23-year record in this work. We are an established vendor with our own equipment, our own crew, and a history of deployments behind us.
We understand how incident procurement works and how a base camp is expected to perform once an incident management team is on site. References from past incidents are available on request.
